World most expensive car

The world most Expensive car ?

They are calling it the most expensive production car ever built. It might not be the first time Rolls Royce has produced a stunning bespoke vehicle, but it may be the best and most expensive effort yet. First take a look at the story behind the making of this one off custom build vehicle. According to Rolls, an individual customer approached the company in 2013 and asked them to build a motor car inspired by the Rolls Royce models of the 1920. The unnamed owner of the Sweptail is reported to be a collector of distinctive one-off items including super yachts and private aircraft. He was also actively involved in the making of the car from start to finish. The two seater coupe has been christened the Sweptail for its modern take on the sweeping rear of its older models from the 1920s which looks like this or this or maybe even this one. Now lets take a look at some of the features of the car. The Sweptail gets one of the largest solid aluminum front grille, which is inspired from the Patheon that is hand polished to get a mirror finish. The signature bonnet ornament the Spirit of Ecstasy is also the largest ever. One of the most striking features of the vehicle is its entirely uninterrupted panoramic glass roof, which according to Rolls Royce is one of the largest and most complex sections of glass paneling ever seen on a car. The roof allows the cabin to be flooded with natural light, animating a host of beautifully handcrafted materials and componentry.

The elements inside are made from Macassar Ebony and Palade veneers. The moccasin and dark spice leathers of the seats, doors and hand stitched steering wheel are sure to catch once eye. The rear seats are replaced with a middle shelf of wood accented with a thin, illuminated glass lip. The center console houses a one-off hand built mechanism that, at the touch of a button, will deploy a bottle of the clients favourite champagne and two crystal champagne flutes, cause when you are this rich, you are allowed to drink on the go. There are also two other features secreted inside. Concealed in the outboard walls on either side, behind the opening of the doors are two identical panniers which when activated, deploy forward to reveal an attached case which has been packaged to exactly house the owners personal laptop or tablet. Oh and there’s hat shelf too- because where else would you put your hat while driving a feature he no doubt needs considering he has the boot space of a Boeing 747.
